Cabourg beach: 1h45 by train

At the gateway to the Pays d’Auge, Cabourg is an elegant seaside resort in Calvados. Cabourg is the closest destination to Paris, and also the most southern.

To do : Go to the casino, have a drink at the grand hotel, watch the races at the racecourse, walk on the Marcel Proust promenade, enjoy the sandy beach, do the festival…

Deauville beach: 2h05 by train

The most famous seaside resort of Calvados, with its promenade, its palaces, its ferraris, its racetracks…

To do: Attend one of the many cultural festivals in town (such as the American Film Festival), go to the casino, enjoy the 2km long sandy beach and the seaside facilities, collect shells.

Trouville-sur-Mer beach: 2h05 by train

Next to Deauville, Trouville is located on the right bank of the Touques river, just in front of its famous elder sister. Less bling bling, smaller and more typical, with its half-timbered houses, Trouville has more charm than Deauville.

To do: walk along the second homes of many stars such as Jean-Paul Belmondo or Gérard Depardieu, buy soles at the fish market, play tennis on the beach.

Le Touquet beach: 2h25 by train

Between the pine forest and the sea, between Berck and Boulogne-sur-Mer, lies the commune of Le Touquet-paris-Plage, nicknamed the Arcachon of the North.

To do: walk on the dunes, play at the casino, participate in the flower festival, admire the architecture of some buildings like the town hall or the post office, go sand yachting.

Granville beach : 3h05 by train

A former fishing port specialized in cod, the first shellfish port in France and a seaside resort close to Mont Saint-Michel, Granville is perched on a rocky promontory facing the archipelago of the Chausey islands.

To do: play golf, attend a horse race, walk along the cliffs, admire the castle of Grainville, go to the casino, enjoy the Plat Gousset beach located in the city center.
