Last minute tickets
Thanks to “last minute tickets”, you can get a ticket at a low price. For example, the Palais Garnier offers 6th category seats for sale at 10 euros on the day of the performance, as soon as the box office opens at 11:30 am.
Standing tickets at 5 euros
If you have strong legs, the Opéra Bastille also sells standing tickets at 5 euros. To buy them, go to the ticket office of the Opéra Bastille from 11:30 am on the day of the performance.
Wednesday appointments
To make opera accessible to all audiences, the Paris Opera offers a special operation called “Les rendez-vous du mercredi”: on certain Wednesdays, at noon, you can take advantage of limited offers, only on the Internet, on a selection of current shows (last seats for sold-out shows, exceptional discounts…). Under 28 and over 65
Depending on availability, people under 28, over 65 and unemployed people can benefit from last minute tickets at preferential rates all year round. To take advantage of this offer, you must go to the box office of each opera house, Bastille and Palais Garnier, half an hour before the curtain rises.
