Every summer, from the beginning of July to the end of August, the banks of the Seine and the Bassin de la Villette are transformed into a seaside resort with the Paris Plage operation.

Paris Plages, from the Pont des Arts to the Pont de Sully on the right bank, the Rives de Seine Park offers exceptional views of the historical monuments of Paris, such as the Notre-Dame Cathedral, the Louvre or the Musée d’Orsay. During Paris Plages, strollers can settle down on the numerous lawns and wooden terraces to enjoy an exceptional and atypical setting, between palm trees and parasols. Seaside atmosphere guaranteed!
Bassin de la Villette
In the 19th district, enjoy the giant swimming area of Paris Plages! Located on the quai de Loire of the canal de l’Ourcq, it is composed of 3 pools of different depths in order to suit children with children, people with reduced mobility, as well as amateur or experienced swimmers. Supervised all day long, they are open from 11:00 am to 8:30 pm in 2-hour rotations, from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm, from 1:30 pm to 3:30 pm, from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm, and finally from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm.
